still experiencing disconnections again, called CSR and they tried resetting my connection, but after awhile same problem experienced. now tried checking the auto reconnect checkbox.

if your adsl modem is speedtouch 511e, you can configure it into pppoe without the routed on option, then you can now make 511e as a modem and your linksys as your router with firewall, :mrgreen:
