Well... for bus enthusiast and in the industry it is common knowledge that Ceres/VTi transfers plates of its buses in different units.

When VTI started their Manila-Batangas operations with Ceres Transport, Inc., what they did was transfer some of their buses operating in Mindanao (Bachelor Express/Rural Transit) to their Batangas base. What they did was use the plates of the Alps buses they bought and transferred these to the units they used. When VTO was able to acquire new Kinglong Buses, they recalled their Hino RK buses from Manila and brought these back to their different branches. Some went to Dumaguete and replaced the old Hyundai 2k units that used to ply the Cebu-Dumaguete route. Again the old plates were tranfered to these units. VTI again rebodied their buses into the current Viking aircon units and the plates were transferred again.

The dilemma for LTFRB/LTO is what kind of sanction they will give VTI. They have to consider that if they suspend VTI's franchise, this will paralyze almost 2/3 of transport in VisMin. VTIs area of operations are Negros (Occ. and Or), whole of Panay and Cebu here in the Visayas + almost the entire Mindanao. They also have Batangas-Manila operations and Manila - Iloilo. It also doesn't help that most of these areas, VTI has monopoly. And if they fine them, they should fine them a huge amount. Unknown to many, but VTI/Ceres is actually the largest bus company in the country today and maybe in SEAsia as some people say. They have over 3000 units running today.

Correction lang Bro. Sa Negros na sila gikan (Bacolod).

Diri sa Negros (Occidental, Oriental) wala naman na paki mga tawo if out of route byahe nila or doble2x mga plate # nila if naa jud ba diri kay wala man magreklamo kay wala man sila rival company. Naa gani diri usahay mga units nila ang plate # sa Mindanao pa. I don't know lang sa Iloilo and the rest of Panay Island.

Kanang mga out of route kasabot ko ana kay usahay dili available ang unit nila for that route like guba or special trips so need jud nila ireplace kaysa icancel ang trip.
