The farmer arrested for alleged sexual assault on a dog in Oriental Mindoro had previously raped a pig, Radyo Inquirer reported Friday.
The 33-year old man was caught in Naujan town sexually abusing a pig but the swine’s owner opted not to file charges, the report said, quoting Police Inspector Ruel Fronda, chief of the Victoria police station.
The married suspect moved from Naujan to Victoria after the incident, the DZIQ report added.
On Tuesday, two counts of violation of The Animal Welfare Act were filed against the farmer after he purportedly raped a pet dog twice this month.
He was first caught having sexual intercourse with the dog on November 8 in Barangay Poblacion I, in Victoria, police said.
The alleged assault on the canine was repeated 13 days later on November 21, but this time the pet owner saw the incident and reported it to police.
