Spray painted FG Kyrios

I put the spray cans under the sun (wala man guro ni-abot 40 degrees centigrade) so it must be definitely be operator error but for the life of me I don't know which of the following causes in this site, Spray Finishing Problems - Orange Peel; Causes and Solutions - Furniture Finishing Antique Restoration, is true for me. 1 Pearl Gold (Not so obvious orange peel if not magnified)



2 Flat Black (Not so obvious orange peel if not magnified)



3 Flat White (Very obvious orange peel even when seen with naked eye)



Some pieces are a bit ok (orange peel can be seen only when I use a 3/6x magnifying glass).

This guy seem to spray paint closer than the recommended 12 inches: YouTube - Let's paint MG Kämpfer pt02

Maybe I should try spraying at 6-8 inches next time?

Is it time to get an airbrush? I assume orange peel is easier to avoid using one because we can control flow and 'thin-ness' of paint?

Is this model ok?

Basic Air Compressor with Airbrush

bro its very clear nga pag spray nimu duol rah , ang that baga rah, ang paint kay nag buwag2x ist because wala siya na sand ug maau...
try this:
1.wash the parts you will paint or wipe it and make sure its clean
2. sand it with fine grit sand paper ,mybe 600 grit
3. spry on a news paper or sa wood sah befor you do it sa parts nga imu e paint.
4. spray mga 12. 6 inches away from the parts.
5.when you spray one press at a time lang to control the amount of paint
6 make sure even ang pag spray para ma cover tanan
7. let it dry for 10 min then spry for final coating, pero dapat gamay lang not like pag 1st
8 make sure to let it dry sa place nga dili abog and walay mananap.

Im sure the result would be a lot better than your pics.
