have u been to Makati? Mandaue is Industrial Zone. Makati is business Center. If the plan is to make mandaue makati I think its tab bit to late already.

But who says there won't be any changes? It won't be an overnight thing, but definitely it will soon happen to Mandaue.

i think ang sa cebu city na area is kana before sa jolibee. kanang naay welcome to cebu city na puthaw na sign sa island.

tho ang dalan gi bilin sa city for overseeing, but the major infrastructures there are national's project.

the boundary between Mandaue and Cebu cities in the reclamation area ... is the bridge beside the Cebu port authority ...
there are no national projects on either side of the bridge except for the Cebu port authority ...
all projects in the Mandaue side are either private (parkmall, cebudoc, toyota, nito's auto supply, s&r etc.) or of the provincial government (cicc) ...
there are no national government projects in the area ...
so that you will have a better perspective of my Mandaue's boundaries ...

Naa naman sad gani bag o nga establishment diha North Reclamation Area, kanang S&R nga shopping center murag Makro. I bet naa nasad lain business establishment matukod early next year. Kani nag pasabot nga padung ug ka lambo ang cuidad sa Mandaue.

S&R reminds me of cash & carry in Makati

but S&R is way much bigger than cash & carry see there is a big chance Mandaue will become the Makati of the south !!! we even have a bigger cash & carry than Makati

Possible for Mandaue...But first,..it needs proper zoning for establishments...Mayor Cortez can manage that with the help of SB and the people of Mandaue specially...
