i wish all parents/people and so the schools can watch that Ken Robinson Ted Talk. aside from the education system, i guess it's our culture of like seeing 'school education as equivalent to bright future' is somehow kind of blind us from what is really 'education.'
as a parent, sometimes i can't help but question if parents going abroad just to send their school to expensive school is worth it. it's just sad sometimes to think that we usually equate 'private/expensive school' as quality education.
owkei, i think i'm out of the topic.
"they don't want well-informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking, that doesn't help them. That's against their interest. You know what they want? they want obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork and just dumb enough to passively accept all this increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay and the longer hours."
hahaha..i actually know a company that has a management that thinks like this...sad...so sad...
Tinuod kaau na, labi na diri. We are bred to be workers, who dont think but obey.
