Yeah, he's still very young, 22 yo. Dako pa kaau iyang chance ma-gukdan ang achievements ni Sam Bowie.

I thought that this latest Oden injury was just an aggravation from his previous injuries the past 3 seasons. But surprisingly it's not.
This fella just develops injuries out-of-nowhere.If it's true that he's "injury prone" since 7th
grade, then somebody from the Blazers camp didn't do their scouting report well.
2007-2008 - RIGHT KNEE - MISSED ENTIRE SEASON
2008-2009 - LEFT KNEE/RIGHT FOOT - MISSED 21 GAMES
2009-2010 - LEFT KNEE - MISSED 61 GAMES
2010-2011 - LEFT KNEE - WILL MISS ENTIRE SEASON
It seems he has spent more time in the operating room than in the basketball court.
And the Blazers are, of course, paying for all the operation & rehab expenses less the $20 million they've paid Oden for doing nothing over the past 4 years.
As the pipz from NBA.com would emphasize, the "ODEN EXPERIMENT" is over. Time for Portland to put the "bad draft decision" behind their back & move on.
Focus nalang sila sa ilang current & future talents like Roy, Batum or Aldridge. As for Oden, it will be a very long journey for him to recover physically & emotionally.
Burn in hell you 80-year old looking osteoporotic chimpanzee! There! I said it!![]()
@ Motownkid
the "ODEN EXPERIMENT" is over, is it really? If it is, too bad. I feel sorry for Oden and the entire organization of the Portland Trailblazer. Imagine "if it was Durant they pick...Nah, so much for that..I agree, Oden will have a tough journey ahead, not so much physically but more on emotionally. Imagine what he was thinking now? I remember reading an article when he got injured last year, his mother was present; and both Oden and hiS Mom apologized to the team because of his injury.
I still think he can play maybe not in a Blazer uniform but somewhere; he is a 22 year old man. Good Luck to Oden.
don't do that to your "former favorite team".That's not what TS would usually do..

Roy is out for today's game against the visiting Nuggets but the Blazers have Matthews who is equally productive as Roy based on his numbers from the previous game. Good Luck to both teams!![]()
^^ WOW!! Fernandez always think "he is the Rudy Fernandez of Spain" times like this its always his time to shine, I'll try to forget what happened when Roy was out during the playoffs and Rudy got to replace him. After all, this is a new season..So looking for Rudy to shine..
Got this from CBSSports:
Trail Blazers SG Brandon Roy, who has already been ruled out for the team's next two games Thursday against the Nuggets and Saturday against the Jazz because of a knee injury, may not get any better this season and may be finished as a franchise player, according to Yahoo! Sports. “There’s no real hope of it improving,” one league source with direct knowledge of the medical prognosis said. “It’s just about trying to manage it now. He’s not going to be the franchise superstar that [Portland] thought he would be. This isn’t something they consider ‘fixable.’ ” Roy will have his knee re-evaluated in a week.

They now have much bigger problem than Oden. . tsk tsk
grabe tragic news mana bai... di na pod mada ug repair ang knees ni brandon roy usika sa talent uy...
One of the reason why he dropped in the draft . Teams were scared of his knee(s) ..
