She studied how Coffee Dream and Bo's Coffee once shared Cebu as a coffee market before losing it to the big coffee shops that followed - Starbucks, Figaro, Seattle's Best, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
As for the donut business, KK is the one to be feared other than the already established DD and MD. The Whole Donut (based in Connecticut) is not coming soon to the Philippines any time soon and that's a relief. The global donut biz is apparently "more open".
