Why is it when someone talks about managing your own money, only a few are interested

I have a friend.
I talked to him about the importance of sharing and investing.
His comment: "Bitaw no? Mag-invest na gyud ko bai. Dugay na kaayo kong nakaplano nga mag-invest. 5 years nako sige trabaho but wala pa gyud ko ka save".

You can really see in his eyes both the feeling of regrets he made during the previous years of not saving and the burning desire of saving now for his future.

However, after receiving his 13th month last week, nakabalita cya nga naay 50% off nga new model sa cellphone [LG Optimus] sa SM.
Unsa iya gibuhat? Ni linya siyag apil to buy that phone..

Funny kaayo tang mga Pinoy! hahahaha..
10 years from now, if moduol ko niyag balik den ako cya pangutan-on kung naa na ba cyay na save, di na ko mag-wonder kung unsa iya itubag.. hehehehe..

It always gives me a negative notion when I hear people saying "we'll help you become wealthy/millionaire." Murag simang keu sa biblical teachings..

ang bible mismo ga promote man nga its good to be rich to help others.

hinoon medyo bati gamay diri sa pinas, kay "if your're rich/wealthy you must be corrupt or greedy, so im fine by being poor" man ang mga mentality sa pinoy.

Just a word of advice: The prices of shares for PhilEquity and FAMI are getting cheaper over the week. Since December is fast approaching, expect those to go up fast before the year ends. Invest now. I am projecting a a good rise this December.
