approximate distance isuzu jagobiao to i.t park 10+ km
approximate distance canduman proper to i/t park 7+ km
    difference of 3+ kilometers.

    weekly cost kia avella 600
    weekly cost honda 500

if you think about it. you both have the same average fuel consumption.
    it's the distance that differs.

if you want to know your average fuel consumption. you can always try to have your car at full tank and reset your trip meter. the next time your going to have your next fill up make it a full tank. now divide how many kilometers to the amount of fuel it took for the car to have on your 2nd full tank.

sa ako lng bro noh, sa driving habits jud na nmo ang dako nga factor sa FC... my ee90(1.3) cosumes 500-600 a week, distance is from tabunok to guadalupe, that is roughly 11-12 kms... before katong newbie driver pa ko mo gasto jud ko ug more or less 800 kada semana sa gasolina lng, kay pataka ra man ko ug tamak sa gasolinador, nya prme gadali, mao nga kalas jud ug gasolina... krn i have learned my lesson na, inanay ang pag throttle nya dli ka prme magdali, kay ma.abot ra ka sa imong destination otherwise man sad. it just all boils down to how you drive.

    Bai,

On the way sa office, Basak and Hi-Way Mandaue ra man cg hunong (heavy). 1st to 3rd gear halos ang dagan. During night time, straight na maka 4th gear (low). Pero para nko dako gihapon. hehehe. Ang Hyudai gets nga diesel sa ako kauban kay less than 1500 consumption per month. And yes, everday mi, mon-fri nga drive.

    Thanks sa reply.

sa ako experience ky 1.5K/week mao ako pa.gas sa amo honda city. with ave fuel consumption of 10k/li nya mga 350-375+ distance traveled in 1 full tank.

OnT: full consumption bro depends on many factor, i know 2 of them; driving habit and traffic volume... if cge kag hunong2x ky dako2x jud nag impact sa imo FC.

ako every 6months rko mag.pa tuneup.. sa casa rman sad gud.. hehehe

That's actually good fuel mileage na for a car. Same ra route nato... Basak mandaue to office (IT Park ko). Sa mornings heavy gyud ang traffic and sometimes sa gabi.i traffic pud sa may super metro dapit. I usually consume around 800-1k a week sa gas nako. 1300cc gihapon engine nako.

Kung mag motor ko 500 pesos ra akong 1 month (200cc). Same ra route. If you don't mind the heat, dust and additional risks involved in riding a motorbike dagko2x gyud ka ma save sa gas compared sa awto.

Kung kaya sa imong sakyanan, at 20kph go to 3rd gear na, 30kph-4th gear and 40kph-5th gear na dayon.
Accelerate gradually but not too long aron maka transfer dayon ug gear.

Kung di kaya sa sakyanan to do early shifting, it is time for you to improve your electrical system.

who said running a car would be cheap? some cars are maybe cheaper to run, regardless of what kind of automobile you drive you still have to spend money to make it run.

well i guess you have to look at your options here.

you can carpool para ambag ambag sa gas.

sell the car and buy a newer car with efi instead of carb.

    buy a motorcycle.

    public transport.

if your wife, family etc. approves that you can ride a motorcycle why not invest in one and use it as a work day service. and only use the car for weekends. it's a cheaper alternative and you can save more money on gas.
