    not actually the solution..
best solution.. make your backend USER FRIENDLY... doing it on joomla is a headache... you need to create a special component just to make it user friendly.. it is a developers job when they turn-over the site the client can use it immediately DROP IN, ika nga idiot-proof na siya...

usually when do a website i keep it MODULAR and USER FRIENDLY... joomla doesnt fit the qualification thats why i tend to create it from scratch... i usually discouraged some of my clients from using joomla... explaining them how complicated to maintain it, i would prefer wordpress if they really want a OS platform...

im old school thats why i follow the ethics of good programming...

Well, for me, base on experience, my solution is still Training. I had some clients before who didn't even know what facebook is, because they're like 40+ yrs. old, and yet after I've trained them in using the CMS, which is in Drupal, they were happy and told me it was easy for them to use, meaning it was user friendly to them already. Of course, I didn't train them on the most complicated parts though, only the ones which will allow them to update contents in their site and just their main concerns.

So @salbahis, if you will have a client someday and would like to prefer you to use Drupal or Joomla only, and make it user friendly as possible, will you not accept it? Like, for example, the project I mentioned above. Which do you prefer? Just so we'll get back to the original topic. hehehe!

if the client insisted it, like what i did the last, but i will still stand on my belief... as always i keep telling my client to consider the change...

the last one i made, customized backend not the usual administrator backend
