Everybody knows how paranoid airport officials are when it comes to this sort of issues.. And she even made that stupid joke, serves her right.

...or you can say they take their jobs very seriously. Calling them paranoid is somewhat bad taste. They do a very complex and difficult job, and not to mention very tiring, day-in and day-out by ensuring our safety.

If you are one of them the last thing you want is a bomb slipping thru your security cordon and actually making it on the plane and detonates. That would be a very sad day...
