A: You said it yourself you don't expect them to be sweet and friendly - Deal with it! If you ask "how to" then it's up to you -don't let the voice of a stranger tell you what to do with your boss - if someone tells you to put him/her down, or quit or talk back will you follow? i guess not. You know better than we do. If you'll ask this question again "how" you're giving a not so good impression to potential employers here on Istorya.net. - listen to yourself.

Q: And I disagree about being a boss has to be selfish. I think that's just one-sided.

A: Do you think that there are only 2 kinds of boss in this world, Good and Bad? Look sweety, if this is your first job i'm surprised you're still coming to work everyday and yes you are learning the hard way - but it will pay off good in the future. If this is your second or third job - u know what to do.

btw, you're saying about selfish - in what way you concluded your boss is a selfish? it hurts my feeling coz i'm a boss too.
Uuuu... No wonder I can feel fire in your words. I apologize but I do not mean no harm to you. But what is there to feel bad if you yourself know you handled your employees well? About the selfish thing, I don't want to enumerate it here because I know it will not be good for my employer. Right? I think you know how it feels so I prefer not to comment about it.

I am making this thread to know what others think, what others experienced of their own boss too. I am not saying that all boss are mean, but to those who felt the "bitter treatment". What's bad about surveying and observing? Don't we learn from each other? It's not that what one would post I will directly apply it to my boss. No. Again I'm studying what's the best way to interact with your boss.

This is my second boss, and yeah it's sad that we have to drag along with her. Even if it's against our will, even if she's being unreasonable we have to do what she wants. Why? Because she's the boss.

Yes I need this job. Why? I want to be independent from my parents and be the one to be able to help them that's why I'm doing my best to accept whatever pressure I will encounter. But, sometimes it hits the limit... So what does one have to do? How to deal with the boss if you can barely control yourself?

I think this will also open the minds of other boss who wants to create a healthy relationship with their employees. This is not to make them look bad. It's a matter of how to gain respect from your employees without imposing it on them.

People spend most of their time at work than at home. Why not practice a healthy interaction? there's nothing wrong with being strict. There's nothing wrong if sometimes the boss lost their temper over something because they themselves have pressure on them too. The question is, are you being reasonable to the words you said to that person? Boss or employee, we are all the same humans. Humans as we are we feel hurt sometimes. If you are being reasonable, your employees will understand you even if you shouted at them.

That's why, what is there for you to get hurt?

By the way, if you don't mind... don't call me "sweety" even if it's just and expression. Only one person calls me that. Thanks!

talk to you boss's Boss and have a "**Brown bag" with her then tell her what you feel.

** ( FYI: Brown bag is used in American culture where you put dog poo on it and after using it, you either burn it, throw it, or put it on your neighbors doorway ring the doorbell and set fire on it so that when they step on it to put out the fire, they step on the poo as well and create a very big Mess which is very fun to watch, sorry if i said too much about this... just being considerate) or you can use the Brown bag Method, the original one. Enjoy!
