How to cook sawdust for my dogs

ataya, this made my day jud! i understand na biktima sad ko aning word nga "saw dust" for dogs before, and ako pajud gi "google" what tree would give my dog the best nutrients! hehe up for this thread...

mo kick in ra na ila instincts bro, after all raw man kinaon sa dogs in the "wild"... Daghan man ga practice ug raw feeding and feedback is always that mahurot jud pirmi ang food unlike when fed with kibbles, naay times walay gana ug ma usik ra.. key lang in raw feeding is variety and correct proportion.

im really not an expert on this bro pero share lang nako unsa ako na understand with regards to raw feeding...

when you feed ur dogs raw, the amount per day would be 2%-3% of your dog's body weight and around 10% for puppies. so for example, my dog weighs 20kgs and i choose to feed him 2%, that would be 0.400kg of raw meat in a day.

As to proportions, depende which school of thought you are in to:

if BARF=

60%-80% raw meaty bones (ex. chicken back, neck, wings) and the remainder is for veggies, fruits, offals etc

if kato Prey Model

80% meat, 10% bone anD The remainder is for offals

if you are using sawdust, lisod man idetermine ang bone content since pulverized naman ang bone ana, but para nako lang if sawdust ako gamiton, ako siya iconsider sa 60-80 percent... then mag add nalang ko ug organs and pureed fruits or veggies para balanced meal... then maghatag nalang kog bones na dagko para lang panlimpyo sa ila teeth...

if mag raw feeding jud ka, mas maayo palit ka ato chicken or other meat den panagsa-i lang sad ang sawdust, kai mejo taas kaayo ug fat content ang sawdust

di kaayo ko kasunod sa raw feeding bitaw kai it needs time jud...

ako pabukal ra man sa tubig.. murag nagpabukal kog meat para sa spaghetti..ana ra,, then kung maluto na gae..hinay2 pd kog add seasonings, para char-ran ra pd among doggies... they like it with dog food.. so go go... tambuk na xamot among pitbull,, bug-at na kauu,, matumba nako halos kung muhagwa xa nako.. T___T

@ justin_diaper, oow haha, now i have better idea onsaon nako pag-raw diet among mga dogs, kung i-shift nako. So far, ok man cla sa kibble and nakauyon pud ko sa result sa dog namo.

pwiha ta.. bag o lng ko ngstart then pbukalan rpd nko.. hehe.. dri rpd ko sa furoms nkakuha og idea.. wla nay seasonings akoa.. emix rpd nko sa kibbles.. hurot2 mn pd dyon, igo rko mkatalikod.. haha.. sahay dli nko initon gkan sa ref, dritso lng bsag bugnaw, kaon mn japon.. sahay mixan nko chicken liver gamay.. thumb-size lng ba.. haha
