Heres what I would recommend you do, ask apple store if they accept items for warranty if its bought from another retail, AFAIK apple provides international warranty BUT they also reserve the right to refuse warranty for business reasons, atleast confirm with them if you buy from another retailer will they fully honor the warranty.
