Funny how she had the audacity making derogatory comments about crossing roads in Hanoi is "one of the easiest way to die" as if Metro Manila roads plagued with jeepneys are one of the safest roads in the world .. How dare she asked for an apology and said she wasn't trying to insult anyone .. Ok , WTF was she smoking when she wrote the apology , really ?? She's probably dumb or she thinks everyone are as dumb as her ?? Her apology is obviously an insult to everyone's intelligence ..

Imagine if you hosted a business seminar and one of your foreign guests was on live TV telling all the viewers back home how bad the food was and how disappointed she was that there were no sexy guys for her?#!?#?! Evidently this woman is unprofessional, disrespectful and completely lacking in diplomatic skills. It's frightening to think that our leader is taking advice from such people!

I recall recently a Russian governor during an official dinner supposedly discovered a worm in his salad which he then twittered to the world. The president publicly berated him for this even calling him an "imbecile".

Maybe what this girl doesn't understand, is that in Vietnam their leaders care about the taxpayer's money and doesn't want to waste the budget on expensive wines just so that social climbers like her can have a good time. She just proves that you can take a girl out of public school, but can't take her public school manners out of her =P It's a pity she thinks she is now of the "wine connoisseur" class of elite, when the moment she steps out of a plane in Hong Kong she will be mistaken for a maid.

I guess she also missed the point that the summit is for the main purpose of building economic and diplomatic bridges, and not the wedding of Kris and James Yap =P

I think it's both a blessing and a curse that facebook and twitter are so easy they can be used even by people with low IQ. I bet the original members of facebook when it used to be limited only to Ivy League colleges are thinking of the good old days when they didn't have to put up with crap like this =)

People like her, instead of posting useless tweets, should work hard to make our country better. Because one day, we might even be sending domestic helpers to Vietnam. Every Asian country is leapfrogging us, even though we supposedly have the smartest people in Asia. Oh well, I guess when we're really at the bottom beneath Myanmar and North Korea, we might finally admit how bad the situation in our country is instead of throwing a tantrum every time someone else points it out to us =) That's if we're lucky...

OT: It's my experience and I was replying to another poster who said this girl comes from UP. I'm just saying I'm not surprised, because many students I know from UP-Cebu have bad manners. That could apply to other schools too though...
