aw most probably nag heat jud na siya by... silent heater lang gyod siya.
afaik, no problem man sa conception anang mga silent heaters, and prob lang kay ang pagbantay if nag heat ba jud tuod, kay wala lage blood na pwede matiman-an...

but as to fertility, i think there's not much difference sa ordinary heat...
i dunno, maybe fids can confirm ning info-ha..

agree with @ironwood,if silent heater na cya only the signs of being 'in heat' are not visible but ok ilang fertility.naka try sad mi ani sa dogs sa ako clients on several occassions we remedied this by housing the female with a proven male kay cla raman gud kahibaw ana ug wen is the 'right tym' and succesful baya jud.
However,if imo dog kay gahubag pa iyaha then wa pay dugo most probably di na cya silent heat,kay silent heaters develop no signs of being in estrus such as bloody vaginal discharge,swelling of the vulva,etc.they only display behavioral indications like being restless when inside the kennel,'standing heat',flagging of its tail to the sides when a male is present or when touched in the rear,etc.
most probably if gahubag pa but way dugo,its still under the PROESTRUS Stage,mao ni cya ang period na gisundan sa ESTRUS Stage,mao nani ang 'in heat' stage.mao pud ni ang time na imo cya pa studan.hope i've helped a bit

To all .... back to the topic na ta . I have a couple of questions also and hope our knoweldegable enough forumers can also share their knowledge .

For future breeders , how to distinguish also the prospective FIRST PICK PUPPY ? Depende ba sa breed or naay standard na technique ani ? At what age man ? Like how many months ni siya nato normally makita or observed ?

regarding the picking of the first pick puppy.usually,i picked mine,with the breed standard in mind,followed by its temperament/health and i also based it with my 'personal' type preference like head type,expression,etc.i pick them at 8 weeks or older or sometimes if ang nagpa stud kay 'hadlok' makagasto sa bakuna or nagastuhan na sa food consumption or tanaw nko di kahibaw mu atiman ang breeder,maka sayo ko ug pick like 6 or 7 weeks.
by the book,experienced Show breeders advised to pick ur future show dog/bitch at the age of 8 weeks old (or if u want o be sure,6mos.-the faults are already in the surface) coz according to them,this is the time when the pup resembles a miniature version of the adult that it will become.And beyond this age (before 6 mos.),it will be difficult to pick a show pup as it is already undergoing 'heavy' physical changes (awkward stage).

In the other side of the coin-The experienced 'Working dog' breeders,advised to pick a working prospect at age 7 weeks,as this is the socialization period and would allow the mind & being of the pup to develop to its fullest potential (if handled & socialized properly).The pup also at this time is fully weaned to its dam & littermates both physiologically & behaviorally speaking.

Ako im just starting pa man sad pero usually I will look for the pup nga duol sa breed standard usually around 8 weeks to 3 mos pero I let my mentors evaluate first the pup then ask the pros and cons. Then I learn from it.Second nko consider is attitude of the pup.
I think sad every breeder has personal preferences in selecting for the first pick pero structure gyud una tan awon nila labi na inig 8-12 weeks old sa pup

Share lang ko a little knowledge when choosing a puppy . This doesnt have to be the 1st pick either . Mga around 8 weeks pod ni siya angay buhaton . Just because the pup is resembles the form of the adult , ako di kaayo mo rely ana since grabe ang changes physically sa dog both male and emale during its young adulthood which naa siya sa 12 - 24 months of age . kadtng mga puppy pa lang sila , ang pinaka dako di na katubo , ang pinaka gamay maoy mo burot and etc , I rely mostly on the TEMPERAMENT . Though I dont have a personal experience yet but these are knowledge from people in the community who has been breeding , raising and selling GSD for the last 20 -40 years or so .

- Bring a ball , small towel or any colorful round object that will rolil or pwede ipa chase around . ANg puppy na mag cge ug gukod and bite ani has the potential , it shows good temperament and good drive .

- Pakuratan ang puppy , like a very alarming sound , hagbungan ug kaldero etc ... if it stays there and doesnt run round around scared , the pup has the potential , it shows hardness and is not shy at all .
