what wrongdoings of the opposition is not prosecuted?
lots of em..currently it includes DESTABILIZING the economy, mutinee, ILLEGAL WIRETAPPING blah..

and the rest were the vote buyings and riggings that were rampant last election..not to mention the tape conversation of other opposition candidates with some election officers.

why is it that there are no case against those wiretappers?
what i mean actually is for YOU to antagonize the wrongdoings of the OPPOSITION as well..not just focus on the mistakes of PGMA and the administration..there are two sides of the issue here with regards to the impeachment, one is the alleged culpability of PGMA with the issues at hand, the other is the MOTIVE of those who wants to IMPEACHED PGMA..can you really tell that there is an HONEST MOTIVE behind the passing of the complaint?

ohh..did i quoted one of your posts and then mock on it?..come-on, if that could have been an impeachment complaint against me, for sure the tribunal will junk it on sight for lack of substance =)

Yes, but it is not in every democratic country that the opposition are NOT statesmen. Sadly, this is very much the case in the Philippines. We need an opposition for balance in a democracy. But it is an opposition that also possesses STATESMANSHIP, a quality of national leaders being able to cross party lines to help in the crucial work of nation-building.

weren't these charges already in court? except of course for the illegal wiretapping, i don't know why they can't charge a person for wiretapping?

then again prosecute them also... but please share to me the tape conversations with other opposition.

the motives can range from personal to honest, but again the motives can't erase the culpability of the accused. During ERAP's time we can't also tell at that time if the people who want to impeach ERAP has an HONEST MOTIVE behind.

In the senate for example where there are a lot of opposition, didn't they approve the bills that are initiated by Malacanyang? Did they not cross party lines at that time?

To say that we are anti GMA for the sake of it misses the point. Who is Glue-ria Arroyo anyway? She was nobody before she stole the presidency in 2001.

Glue-ria Arroyo received all these flak because she is there at the helm doing all the things improperly. Of course, we are supposed to support the government. I have no problem with that. But as a vigilant citizen, I also have the right to speak out against the wrongdoings of the government. Thats democracy in action. And a democracy thrives with a vigilant citizenry. How many times we urge the masses to vote based not on the popularity and the wealth of a candidate but on his credentials and capacity to govern, which of course does not necessarily mean only a good educational attainment, but more importantly a sincere desire to serve the people honestly.

Erap was ousted not because you are simply anti Erap. You oust Erap because you believe in a good government. Transparent, morally upright and capable leadership. Erap does not have it. Thats why people ousted him for betraying them their trust.

This is the same thing that happen to GMA. She is no longer transparent, morally upright and capable leader. The same fault as Erap. Maybe even worse. The clamor and the protest of today only represents the continuing struggle of Filipinos to achieve a good, accountable, capable and morally upright leadership who will inspire every Filipino to succeed as a nation.

don't tell me that the oppositions did not resorted to any vote buying and election riggings!

all you want is to iron out things with regards to PGMA, how bout the other party?..let's just be fair!
.. exactly. the opposition is trying to act clean when in fact they are also corrupt.

... i know this, but look at how the opposition is destabilizing our country. Unlike in the US where the opposition is trying to outdo the other by making projects and helping the country
