pnoize2k4 : expensive venues you got there bro I only play at YMCA every THU 7PM to 10PM, but mostly at MEPZ 1. I also sometimes play at SHUTTLECOCK BADMINTON CENTER. I would advice that you become a member at SUTTLECOCK because they are way cheaper than other rubberized courts out there.

does it really matter if the court is rubberized? bai, do you notice the difference between hardwood and these mats? Cos at Altavista, it's an old indoor court, same as a basketball court's flooring. I play there cos it's relatively cheap (member price is Php75/hr with free distilled water in a jug full of ice heh). Never noticed a difference lagi.. can you guys tell?
this is the line --------- cross it. i dare you

Zerone_null : It matters a lot. When you play on a MATTE on WOOD venue (which is the IBF Standard for Badminton Courts) you don't slide and prevents injuries to you ankles. Also, with the rubberized flooring, you can move quickly. These standards also give you a soft landing during jump smashes.

True... have tried a lot of courts and it really matters. It really is hard to move around a court that's not rubberized. Makalagot... hehehe!
