Its easier to learn how to speak English in the States kay dili gyud structured ang English. More on slang and anything goes. When i first arrived here, sus magtanga lagi ko unya mokatawa sab ko sa ilang conversation nga dili ra ba kataw-anan diay to, hehehe now i'm good at hitting them with jokes in english maka getz na ko. Probably harder to learn it when you are back home cause naturally imong mga ka istorya mga bisaya unya siguro kung mogamit lang ug english e mix in sa bisaya unlike here kung imo exposure mga americans the whole day, you'll learn quite fastly enough.

speaking the word english is easy..
but giving emphasis to the word is something you have to work on to..
Theres a rising and falling in the intonation of it..
not like our dialect that is just a plain language...

When you want to be a good speaker... give emphasis to the word so you can be understood...

unstressed? u mean der's no emphasis in our language?

i beg 2 disagree bro, coz any language hu dnt use certain level of stress wud be way boring coz it wud sound monotonous n inappropriate or inadequate in conveying our emotions, our native language aint dat way bro

in communication there has to be stress in the intonations...in ALL languages that is present....otherwise...it will be as twelve-pair said....MONOTONOUS....and no one wants to listen to anyone who is like that.

    kala ko nase-stress sa speaking....harharharhar
