Grand Seiko and Credor lines as well as other high and middle end Seiko watches are JDM models and are not normally distributed here in the Phil as you can normally see on our local ADs they only feature Seiko 5's, divers, Autos, the kinetics, solars, and quartzes. But there is news that GS is going international as can be read on the link below. I'm not sure thought if they will be having one here in Cebu or Phils, maybe unless a considerable enough market is interested. Good to know that there are fellow Cebuanos interested in GS, I myself a big fan, but my wallet is not hehehehe

You may contact our AD here in the phils, THE WORLDWIDE LIFESTYLE TIMEPIECES INC., administrator@twlti.com, maybe they can help you, me...us hehehe

Mr. Walker, I believe so too since GS quality standards (-2/+4) are more stricter than COSC standards (-4/+6). I would love to have a look at either since I don't own one and have never handled one, puro ra tanaw sa internet drooling para mas matarong jud ug review

Are you planning to buy a GS someday?

yes sir, one of my dreams. i hav the gmt master II and i had it adjusted to better than published accuracy but i just love the technology of a sweeping second hand of the grand seiko sbge001. i am not sure but i think the gmt master II has a 28k beats in the escapement.

I see your liking the spring drive technology. Marrying classic mechanical movement with electronic technology that can only be found in Seiko. Please do post some pics once you get your hands on it. I'll be praying for a miracle that I could also own one for myself someday.

I recommend you join PhilippineWatchClub.org • Index page and Seiko & Citizen for more information about watches including Seikos. I also visit Watch Review Blog which has the latest updates on different kinds of watches. Hope you enjoy em as I did.

That's true, no service center here, even for the more affordable Japan Domestic Models like the Sumo and Marine Master, you have to send it to Japan for servicing Thats is why mga simple seiko ra ako gipang collect
