In the 90s. How can anyone forget?

The basement of Robinson's Galleria, a then-upscale mall located along EDSA, Ortigas, was said to be the dwelling place of Robina Gokongwei's giant half-snake, half-man twin. Some versions of the rumor say that the snake suddenly appears at dressing room mirrors, which are actually gateways to the basement. Other versions say that these mirrors serve as trapdoors which open when "Robinson" is hungry, sending the unlucky victim down to a series of pipes and mazes to Robinson's chamber.

According to the rumor, this twin likes to feed unsuspecting beautiful women fitting clothes in the mall's dressing rooms. In fact, I remember watching Alice Dixon on the news claiming that she has just narrowly escaped the snake.

The partial truth?

Some say that the half-snake, half-man form of Robina's twin is an exaggeration of the actual condition of her twin. Robina has a twin daw who's deformed and this guy is the lucky charm which gave billions to the Gokongwei family.

Could have inspired J.K. Rowling when she wrote Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets. Haha! Well, I can't believe that people actually believed this rumor and that it even made its way to TV Patrol. Tsk, tsk.

back in the 90's I was only a grade schooler and i would hear the oldies talk about this half snake-half human creature beneath Robinson's Galleria in Ortigas...and sabi nila this creature was once fond of eating live chickens but when he accidentally eaten the hand of the caretaker while feeding him, he preferred human from then on, beautiful women to be exact...and as per the oldies, isa si alice dixon na muntik ng mabiktima when she went for shopping sa galleria. *** snake creature *** ay may monitor where he can see the people enetering the mall and then he spotted alice dixon...alice dixon, while fitting her clothes in the fitting room, felt the floor fell, luckily she was able to grasp the curtains in the fitting room...she was hanging there for a moment and was shouting out of her lungs...the floor came to it's original position and Ms Dixon ran out of the fitting room, out of galleria...it was said that the sales ladies ran after her...not sure if she was offered a big amount of money but from then on she disappeared from the big screen and spent her life in the U.S.....kaya pala sabi ng mom ko, sobrang lalim ng hinuhukay dun sa galleria during its construction kc sa ilalim *** nun ay bahay nung taong ahas....

i think the snake does exists, but the story is a myth. it is possible that robina really have a twin snake and could be a lucky charm to the family. but regarding the story i think its fabricated.
