hi guys! id really like to try ubuntu on my computer mainly because ive had it with windows. too many issues although its been there for a while now. kapoy cge reformat. i like to try something new nsad specially this one. i get a lot of good feedbacks about this OS man gud and based on the screenies it really looks cool! my only problem is i dont know someone (personally) who has installed ubuntu succesfully in their computers. googled some "how to's" but its quite complicated for me to follow. i mean i can give it a shot but there are questions that i need to ask but they just cant answer it right away kay its just an article. wa ko nakit-an interactive forums pareha ani. and since istoryan nman ko daan might as well ask help from you guys kung ok ra man hasol ko ninyo? hehe.
to start off, i have a a windows 7 computer which is partitioned into 2 (NTFS) 150gb each. what i want to do is to install ubuntu in my other partitioned disk which is drive D: and want to keep my windows 7 on c. the reason why i have to keep my windows is im still in the process of learning ubuntu pa, and just in case naa ko wa nahibaw-an sa ubuntu or if something goes wrong, i can always switch back to crappy windows(no offense to windows fans

)
most article i have read man gud is installing windows thru WUBI which is for me dili ideal because your installing it on the same partitioned disk in you windows system disk. what i would really like to do is isntall them separately in two partitioned disks.
my other question is, if i happen to install ubuntu on the other partitioned disk and something goes wrong with it and i want to reformat it or something. can my windows disc reformat the whole partitioned disc?
thats all lang sa for now. i hope im not asking too much from you guys. i would really like to learn from you guys and hopefully join your cool group of ubuntu users
