As my friend reported on his recent visit in Manila - meaty, satisfying to the stomach and delicious. Good value for money too.

To the best of my memory and past experiences, Tropical Hut served good food.

Lastly my friend told me this: "While other burger joints cut down on their servings (like the size and thickness of burger patties, etc.), TH remains consistent and knows how to satisfy their customers' stomachs and taste buds."

As soon as I visit Manila, I will pass by a TH if ever I could find one. Their branches are not that numerous.

Tropical Hut packed up it's bags and left Cebu because Cebuanos did not appreciate it's taste...you may personally call Orange Brutus anything you want, but the fact remains that Cebuanos gave it it's stamp of approval, thus it's longitivity in the market. A few anti-Orange Brutus is no match for the thousands of loyal patrons.

I doubt if Tropical Hut will be back....it's pricing and menu puts it right smack against Jollibee......and as far as taste goes, if what Sharkey says is true, that Tropical Hut is consistent, then I would expect the same bland taste. No amount of fancy pictures will change that.

In my recollection, I also haven't heard of a Manila-based food franchise that initially flopped and failed in Cebu yet came back later to become successful.

If you ever have the chance, try TH first (at least two meals - one involving burger and fries, the other a rice meal) before judging it.

Tropical Hut's burgers and other offerings are tastier than ever before.

Bland is the wrong word to describe them.

Typical Manila offering...looks good on photos but it's bland tasting....just because it's from Manila doesn't mean it's good.....

i was there taft avenue for 4 weekends to support my niece in their recent bar examination. i tried 2x tropical hut infront of la salle and i love it...

i thought sa cebu nani.. hekhek hek.. yeap ingon amo manila branch lami daw ila food diha... ambot lang kaha inig abot sa cebu.. kay depende man sad gud na sa nag franchise ug sa management basin bati mo loto ang magdala nya dri sa cebu..
