USJ-R was proclaimed “My Business Idol 2010 Champion” during the Business Plan Competition held on September 20, 2010 at the Cebu International Convention Center.
USJ-R’s business plan was “A Proposed Production of Mosquito Repellent Lotion from Neem Tree Leaves Extract.” The proponents of the business plan were Commerce students Bryan Pulgade and Timi Solidum coached by Dr. Victoria Digao.
The USJ-R Business Plan was deemed timely and relevant because of the rise of Dengue cases in the Philippines.
The study, along with other studies from other schools, was judged based on its marketing, technical and financial viability, including the quality of presentation and how it was satisfactorily defended before a panel of business experts.
The winners stand proud with their winnings during a courtesy call to the Vice- President for Academics.
