Good day!

Have you guys tried applying for QUALITY HOTEL GLASGOW SCOTLAND? Several job ads in the net indicate that the aforementioned hotel is hiring and in need of workers. IS THIS FOR REAL? IS THIS A SCAM?

In brief, I read the job ad at cebuclassifieds.net. Due to big salary package, I quickly followed the instructions and e-mailed my personal information. Several minutes later, "Mr Mike Campbell" replied and asked me to answer the questions as a sort of interview. After answering, I e-mailed back with my answers.

Today, he replied that I got the job with a "hotel form" to be filled up. He wanted me to choose which department and position I want related to my expertise. Moreover, he told me to contact this "attorney" to usher me on my UK immigration thingy legalization.

He also asked me that I should send the form back and should comply the requirements within 30 days. Furthermore, he said that I should pay 150 pounds (GBP) directly to UK Immigration there in UK for my Working Visa and Work Permit. Then, the HOTEL will assist me in getting there ranging from Flight Ticket, Accommodation/Housing, Feeding, etc.

So easy, fast and simple recruitment right? What do you think guys? A SCAM OR NOT A SCAM?

most likely a scam. more so since they're asking you to pay immediately.

I'm not yet hired but eventually will if, according to him, I can pass all the requirements within 30 days. And yeah, really fast and 4K-8K pounds salary.

I'm really confuse. This job is an opportunity, really. But one thing that made me think twice in pursuing this is the 150 pounds payment for my Working Visa and Work Permit to be paid directly to the UK Immigration. Well, I were to imagine, there's a possibility that this is not also a scam because he want to pay the money to the UK Immigration. Humaygad!

I have already sent an inquiry and report to POEA about this. I'm waiting for their reply. Thanks.

try to check if they have a legit company website. and try to google if atty ba jud na iyang atty nga ipa contact nimo.. and ingna lang nga dili ka maka pay ana nga amount.. tell him/her nga just incase you'll be hired, deduct nalang na sa imong first salary.

why would you send all your personal information without checking it if it's legit or not.

IF IT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. THEN IT'S PROBABLY A SCAM.

i checked there website. im still not convinced if you know someone from scotland ask them if this place really exist and if they really are hiring. that's what my friend did with the same story that you have. naa daw hiring sa hotel sa canada. the place was real but there was no hiring taking place. and complaints have been rising with these scams.

be very very cautious when sending your personal information. ayaw pataka ug online sa mga internet cafe.

try to check the eligibility kay as far as google is concerned, you dont pay or give money to anyone if you're applying for a company sa gawas.. ako amiga hapit ma scam kay ask pud xa nga pasendon xa ug money sa lawyer nga mo process ..

i check iyang email address TS kung nag gamit xa og corporate address or public email address ie.yahoo.com, gmail.com.
tan -awa ang iyang email add TS: vacancydept.qualityhotel@hotmail.co.uk & qualityhotel@europe.com

if he's working for quality hotel, he should be using the corporate email address like qualityhotel.com or something.

So be warned lng TS. this is a scam.

this is a scam sis. nakatry pud ko before but its for black rat restaurant...its also in UK and same process ra sa imong gimention ang ilang hiring. they also told me to pay certain amount of pounds para sa working visa. since i doubted if its really true, i try to serached in the internet and found out that this was along time scam. some have already been victims mao to wala ko nipadayon. same with you, scam ra pud na
