Born and Grow Old in Cebu??

i was born here and i will die here but before i die, i'd love to explore the world first...

My friends and even my family wanted me to go abroad and work
but at the back of my mind, I'd ask, "What for?"
I don't buy the idea of having to slave myself in another country.
I don't really need all the moolah in the world, it's just too superficial
for me... cebu is my home and where my heart is..
I want to utilize what I've learned back in college to the kids who
need me the most -- and they're all here in Sugbo

i just remembered my Lola (a pioneer teacher during the American occupation)
gave a mouthful to the US Embassy admin when she was asked to give up her
citizenship over their Green Card,

"I was born a Filipino and I will die as one. Never will I give up my citizenship."

So if u ask me, where shall I retire?

born in cebu, stayed here till 6yo... raised all over (different places), now i'm back.
hopefully for good... cebu is actually like sacramento, CA. but just like what JL^^ said..
