Daghang salamat! =)
Ina Reformina of ABS-CBN is a graduate of Mass Communication in Silliman University.

I have a lot of Mass Comm classmates before, and when we were still studying. Many are active members of the Debating team, Silliman TV Channel ( UTV now) and part of Silllimanian Weekly, the school's newspaper. One classmate even got a scholarship in Japan.

He was, of course, one of the best in their batch. As far as, the instructors, their really good in their field. I was under Dr. Cecilia Genove, she is probably the best. She reminds me of Miriam Defensor-Santiago, fluent, eloquent and articulate.

All I can say, Mass Comm students of Silliman University, they are very active in school activities. I believe fellow Sillimanian will agree with me. Maybe they do it for exposure, but their always visible, be it the school's paper, debating, Student government, etc. My complained before was, why in the world my MassComm classmate is always the emcees...
As far as Dorm life, there are many activities be it religious or civics, plus you get to know other students in different dormitories. One dormitory is near the Men's dormitory, ahhaahha. so cool, just kidding. Dormitory for women are inside the campus so it is accessible to your class, library, Jollibee( there is a Jollibee in Silliman's property) and since it is located inside, it well guarded by the security. UP ang atmosphere...
Silliman is always one of the top ten schools in the Philippines, and Mass Comm's location probably do not have a building like the other colleges, but is occupying one of the oldest and meaningful building in the campus. Plus it is near the Finance and Register building, believe me this will come handy come enrollment time..hhahahah And it is near the school's cafeteria and the Engineering's building. Some of the most good-looking guys study there..hahahhaha My favorite, it is near the sea, you can see the ocean...
