what he said then save it with the file extension .html...some people forget that and end up getting a .txt file which is useless....as regards to your 2nd question use any browser eg. ie and firefox to open the file and you would see the result there Originally Posted by nirdle_phogi

Type Notepad
Press Enter
Type:

<head></head>
<body>
how to make simple html body,
Google next time
</body>
</html>
Go to, File
Choose Save
type "Simple.html" <- with quotation mark
Go to the folder where you saved it and press enter
It will automatically run the default browser and display the HTML

is quotation mark really needed in saving .html format?? anyway i only remeber saving it in .html.. no need quotation mark... but either way... i think it's all the same...

That's how I do it jahbabsy and that how our teachers told us before.
There's no harm done in doing so.. same ra man..
Mao man sad akong na-andan in creating simple html..
but I seldom use notepad to save or create html files..
I always use DreamWeaver, since 2001-2002.. (^_^)
before pud, when quotation isn't present,
mo-save siya as Simple.html.txt
(or maybe sa c program to or java program..
hehehe.. dugay na man gud to..)

any way, before diay nako ni gibuhi pagbalik nga post ... gi-search sa nako daan dinhi sa Istorya kay naa man gud daghan naghisgot o na-post na kabahin sa html.
kani akong napilian kay 'igo' gyud sa akong katuyuan. ug naa na pud daan sa "Programming"-section.
ug as a background diay ... ako isaysay dinhi nganong ganahan ko magkat-on html. ganahan ko makabalo html kay ganahan ko mag-seo. ug aside ganahan ko mag-seo, ganahan pud ko magbuhat akong kaugalingon nga website.
kabalo ko nga daghan mo-suggest nga di na kinahanglan pa makat-on html arun makama-o seo ug makabuhat website ... ako na na nabasa nga sa karon nga technology, dako na chance nga mag-seo o magbuhat website bisan walay background sa html
pero mga bro ug mga bai, as well, mga sis, misis, ug miss ... pagbigye na lang ko ninyo. besides, i'm sure nga daghan o naa pa pud tingali gusto kadtung paagi nga basic o mura low level kunohay.
