o bitaw.. nireklamo na unta ni...

Janet Jackson Does not own that Melody, the record company made it for her...
Now they recycled it to be used to other artist...
its called sampling. from Beastie Boys to Kanye West to Beck and even Jack White and i think the most popular of them all is Kid Rock's recent hit All Summer Long where sampled Lynyrd SKynyrd and Steve Miller and put a new lyrics on top of it...
dili kaayo ni issue during the 90s since majority of the people still buy CDs and cassettes and sampled tracks are usually written on the credit part and sometimes ila pa i-apil ang songwriter sa sampled song as part of the credit.
murag only one case sa 90s where a brit band sampled another brit band without permission. That Brit band is The Verve and the song is Bittersweet Symphony where they sampled a song from The Rolling Stones without permission. The Stones' management murag mikiha man nila and now Bittersweet Symphony was republished and Mick and Keith are now credited as co-songwriters...
hehehe...ok raman basta nindot pero kung basura gani ang labas...,mapuno dyod sa tamay
the fact na g.release ang kanta nya ni sikat nya way aberya meaning naa jd nay permission from the record company (not Janet Jackson)..
uso nmn ni karon na mga kanta, prha sa Lonely ni Akon, kuha og melody sa old songs..
SOLO is still original. What makes a song "not original" for me is when the lyrics is recycled.

If One line or 2 ang parehas tuno k raman na. It's copyright infringment if more than that. Provided ang 2 lines nga parehas tuno dili parehas ug lyrics sa orig.
btw dle kau xa halata ay
