is this related to SD15 firmware issue?

thats cool bro to have your data intact even after replacement / repair. maybe they replaced problematic component of the drive.

    was it really repaired?

im using one 80GB till now

    and its running good..

was it just replace as a whole item and just thrash your old HDD?

i can not tell the traces of repairs..

i mean, my hdd had lots of scratched externally

but basically shiny new when RMAed

and anyone here who does this except infoseeker?

our bro J is a bit very busy at the moment...

in my opinion, these drives are really repaired. the drive sent to us back could be anyone's drive before. end user nga nagpa RMA pod., seagate may be replaced all the components cguro, from platters, to heads, then logic board and motors, according pod cguro sa severity sa issue sa ato nga drive. plus the fact that the installed components on this a.k.a certified repaired drives, already has fix/es from the previous major probs sa bad batch before.
