SM Cebu's IMAX Theater

Advice to those who'll be watching an IMAX movie:

Make sure that what you'll be watching the movie will be FULLY rendered in IMAX 3D.

I was so disappointed when Superman Returns ONLY HAD 4 SCENES totalling 20 minutes which were rendered in 3D.

Proof?

From SUPERMAN RETURNS: AN IMAX 3D EXPERIENCE:

...select scenes (up to 20 minutes) will be converted into An IMAX 3D Experience®...

Wish The Ant Bully was showing when we went to Mall of Asia....

At least the IMAX home page doesn't say that ONLY PARTS OF THE FILM WILL BE IN 3D

bringing it here in cebu is nice...at list u could watch movies with utmost clarity and the sound also...iim looking forward to this! :mrgreen:

With IMAX, it's not clarity that it brings pero ang 3D effect. Because of the 3D glasses they hand to you, mo-lessen ang brightness. Nindot lang ang IMAX 3D effect if tanan scenes were converted to IMAX 3D and not just certain scenes.

3D effects (with 3D glasses) is not limited to IMAX...
IMAX is not all about the 3D...
its the capacity to display images of far greater size and resolution with the use of very large films...

basta... its an amazing experience!

i also experienced imax sa mall of asia. its really cool and worth it. i think bringing IMAX to cebu is a good sign of progress. and this just goes to show that SM is confident of its market there in cebu.
