nya bai, inig lakaw nila kay magtuwad? abtik mulayat ug kusog mulagpat? kung mu abante pina bakward ug mu atras pinaporward?

I can only say nga paspas jud cya. I was touring our babuyan kay daghan piglets coz they were so noisy. The next thing I saw was something zooming very fast.. really fast... the dogs hesitated at first but they chased but to no avail.. I even ran after that thing but I wasnt able to see it well kay ngitngit pud...

Usually sa amo kay mingaw man, naa ni sila when naa bag-o nga matawo nga mananap lang itoy or baktin.. They are, I believe, classified as wild animals perhaps in the classification of kangaroos, rabbits and the like... Yep, tuwad cya and paspas, kay I believe, mas dagko ni ilang hind legs...

I think pareho ra ni sa baboy na naay wild version (baboy ramo). Maybe sigbins are the wild versions of rabbits or kangaroos

Based sa aning article ang sigbin daw may actually be the recently discovered 'cat-fox'(2005), a subspecies of the lemur family or the civet family. A specimen was actually found in Borneo...



These creatures are noted to as having hind legs that are lower than their front legs and having a somewhat prehensile(adapted for grasping especially by wrapping around an object) tail; this creature, perhaps it has a cousin here in the Visayas,  could be the possible basis of the Sigbin legends.

ingon sa mga katiguwangan tinuod daw ang sigbin. ambot lang, la pa man sad ko kakita and wala sad ko plano makakita ug sigbin. siguro ako na ang pinakatalawits nga tao sa tibuok kalibutan. pero sa akong nadunggan uling man daw ang ganahan kaunon sa sigbin, diri pa ko nakabasa nga kalabasa diay.
