The Prophet Muhammad is the founder of Islam .. and whatever our brothers and sisters muslims would say, Esau, never founded any religion ... but maybe, also a worshiper of natural phenomenon like the Moon.

Before the conquest of Makka by Muhammad, it was a vibrant center of commerce and the Kaaba was already there together with all the other pagan idols. Muhammad's religious experience and the help of disgruntled soldiers, brought about peace in Mecca, and its purification from all the paganistic worship into a city of Islam.
