bIRTHDAy Boy BH, watch 500 days of Summer and ul learn more about love and its complexities...

I believe that this leans toward unrequited love -- when you love and pine for someone who doesn't give back the love you were hoping for. These people are not mean, they just don't see you as someone who can take their breath away or even sweep off their feet sort of thing.

Simply put, they're not into you.

But come to think of it, in loving, you don't put a price to it nor keep tabs on who loves the person even more. When you love someone, you give it freely and unconditionally. If it's given back to you, you're lucky but if not, continue to love the person even if you are in his/her "friend zone." That's much even more comforting rather than being played by the object of your affection coz you wanted so much to be loved back.

Lastly, you can't dictate someone to love you back. If that would be the case, then love will always be a joke to all of us. It will end up as cold, insincere and "empty".

Would you go for someone who loves you just because she's grateful or someone who's real enough to tell you, "she can only be a friend and nothing more...."?

    Take your pick

i take for granted ta if we let others do it to us, to prevent that, either step up and tell that person straight to his face that you don't want to be treated this way, or get out of the relationship if there's no change to his treatment towards you.

One very important aspect of motivation is the willingness to stop and to look at things that no one else has bothered to look at. This simple process of focusing on things that are normally taken for granted is a powerful source of creativity...
