CRAB MENTALITY! a bunch of craps who doesn't want their fellow cebuanos or shall we say "rival" bands to be successful! kung ako, i wear a good smile everytime i see dice & k9 perform on TV. there's no reason why i should get mad or screaming hell out of me when they perform. they always make an effort to let the audience know they are from cebu.

asa natong Dice & K9 nga thread? THE BUZZ with matching "CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISMS ARE WELCOME!" na lagi ni? i hope ang mga criticisms are well-researched and credible, di lang kay pataka lang. kay ang labas, discreditting or sira-an or pana-ut sa group. i dunno the exact term. moderators, next time inform pud ang mga members before you lock a topic. ug dapat, naa moy valid reason nganong gi DELETE ninyo ang mga posts.

    * I am not from another band, I'm an artist. I do interior design, graphic design, web design, and corporate identity development, F&B Consultant, and chef.

    * I have helped a lot of people through counseling on different situations, on several occasions.

    * I will be proud if a cebuano is making waves nationally, but they have yet to prove themselves.

    * If you can't beat em join em?? That’s what you call conformity. I'd rather lead than follow. So, if you're a "follower" I pity you, bandwagon-man.

I'm a big fan of dice and k9, thus i really want to know the truth....

BY THE WAY, what u really saw on tv about a woman claiming to be the "itsumo" songwriter was an ENTIRE FABRICATION.. It's really part of the media blitz that accompanies a starting artist.... I believe that management intended those rumours to further fan the flames of success.. hehehe.... But i have a healthy respect for the group coz i know were they come from and i know the aches and pains that they've gone thru....

i just need clarification on this matter..
yup, maski sa TV, dice even told her nga she's the 50th person claiming nga sila ang nag compose sa song. kato pud issue i read it on the other thread about a manila-based female rapper stealing the itsumo chorus. to sum up all the black propaganda, dice and k9 kay successful that others are trying to ride along with their fame.

People claiming it to be their song is not the issue here. The issue is, that the girl claiming itsumo to be hers is not credible at all, as Itsumo is a sampled track from an old japanese song sang by Sashi Yuichiro. This woman is not fictional. Go ask an old japanese person.

What you say is true about inspiring them to make better music. Read my posts. I would want to see them succeed, not be branded as one-hit wonders, or copycats. That's why I put up the thread.

Unfair criticism is when you have something personal to say about someone. It's not personal at all, but professional. If you hear other real artists on the same genre, they'd say it's elementary, and overrated. Their views on the track might appeal to the people here more, as they are the ones in the industry. Maybe if they post, then people will realize what I'm trying to convey.

I do thank you for your civility. This is what I expected from members, a mature way of discussing a topic. Others get so offended by misunderstanding my posts. Perhaps I should be more precise when posting.

I do admit that some of the people against the track got personal, and I am very much against it. They should be banned, not lock the topic.

Although this topic will never be resolved, as this is merely opinionated postings, then I just might leave it be. However, I will reply on posts that are directed to me n an insulting manner.

i am really impressed with your credentials. when i grow up, i wanna be like you! hehe. but i don't understand the way you make a stand on this issue. nevertheless, i respect your opinon. all of us would be very happy to see you successful in life, that you have proved something, making waves nationally, given the talents that you have. but i personally would be glad to hear from you even just a little appreciation from this band. hatred is a sinful act you know. peace ya'll

I do not have hatred for the band. I find the song Itsumo overrated. Nice song, catchy chorus and tune, but bad lyrics though... and very overrated.

I posted what I do to inform someone that I do not belong to any group, for or against the artists talked about. I do not belong in another group who favors another artist. Then again, it is not the artists that are talked about.
