mao gyud. nwei, sent a formal query about it to the cherry mobile pips last nyt via their website.
let's hope they'll give us a satisfactory reply.
btw, i went to junrex at ayala cebu about this issue and they said it's natural.
however, airtouch service center at sm cebu said that it's not.
they also reminded me that i could still replace it.
so i went back to the kiosk near metro supermarket at ayala cebu where i bought it.
but the replacement unit still had the same problem so it was no use and had to decline.![]()
how about parts replacement of the unit, is it readily available here?
well, i dunno since it didn't happen in my case. i wanted the unit replaced, not just one or more of its parts so i didn't ask when i was at airtouch service center. sori.![]()
the thought of having 3 sims active is appealing. but I'm staying away from qwerty phones!!! di gyud madala sa akong thumbs.magsapaw-sapaw gyud!

in my experience using qwerty phones is that one needs to use both hands in typing. after days of adjusting you'll appreciate qwerty phones kay mas kusug ka ug typing using a more correct spelling sa imung words.
@jorgeporgee
daghan na ka na researsch regarding java apps?
ala bay java app nga maka edit of word doc?
kingkoy kaayo mga java app sa net oi...
i had 4 chemobs before..... this is not a problem... this is a design flaw that is not addressed from their first phones....- no sent folder (correct me if i'm wrong but i think other trident owners have posted complaints about this too)
your wifi issues, i had the same with my SE P1i before....damn long time loading....eventually, it will....
this is not a problem but another design flaw... chemobs dual sim phones can only have 1...- no service menu for sim3 (this was an error in judgement on my part wen i was inspecting the phone prior to buying it coz i was planning on using my 3 retail sims for this phone but only sim1 and sim2 have the service menu. even the replacement phone i inspected had this problem too)
not surprising since this is practically a low-budget alcatel "brother".... i had my alcatel s853 and had the same problem with bluetooth connection....even to other phones....- keeps on disconnecting my s.e. mw600 stereo bluetooth headset after a few seconds (bluetooth service has a2dp i think but i guess there are compatibility issues; hey, wat did u expect for a 6.5k phone? )
lastly.........
naa pa ni? pwede 2k? the line will ring "kuhaon dayon"....bisan di mamalit.... nagtuo ang messages sa b&s mo-count.... LOL....as for my unit here, i'm planning to sell it or give it to my dad instead.
