ERAP won a landslide vice because aside from his popularity he was not also involve in scandals not until he became president. You're popular plus people see you as credible, people will definitely give you a chance.

Erap was not involved in any scandal until he became president. It's another way of saying, appear to be credible first and then PLUNDER all you want when you get the public seat. At any rate Erap still end-up as a disgrace to the people.

Yes he was involve in some scandals during his vice presidential term. His lucky lang to hide those bad things but not for long. Remember nga ang baho musingaw jud na even if you hide it in the deepest place on earth. Garci might win.

Garci even have difficulty getting thru the commission on appointments in fact he did not make it, that's one hell of a credible person for me.

well i was just contrasting Garci to Erap in terms of credibility to hold public office. Erap was indicted for ammasing billions during his stint while Garci has yet to prove his worth in public service. thus i used the word PROMISING

Erap and Garci are birds of the same feather na cla bai...they dont deserve a place in public office...but here you are contemplating on Garci for congress...people made Erap president and made a mistake, it would be stupid to make the same mistake.

i believe Garci is not accountable to anything other than the tons of speculations and accusation that were hurled to him. As a proof of his innocence, the congress did not even file a case against him.

Associating Garci with Erap in terms of credibility is quite half-baked. I suppose. =)

i believe there were charges against him... but still you have the right to believe in what you want to believe, just like the fans of ERAP who still believe their idol is innocent, that all charges against him are just speculations and accusations.

ERAP's track record as a politician before he became president is more promising than the track record of Garci which is tainted with dagdag bawas scandal. Before he was appointed by GMA for 2001 elections, his reputation is already a suspect.
