Not because I'm against your opinions ug sa inyung mga beliefs (taas na sad ni na thread oi).. simply because dili ni dapat lalison kay naa mo right sa inyu gi tuohan you are entitled to it man pod. I wish I could understand everything you guys are saying b/c I've done a lot of research on this subject, but to answer the original question. The Catholic Church is not even close to being Christian & can not be assumed to be the same thing.

christians before were called catholics (catholic is a universal name whose deity is Jesus Christ) it was not until recently that the word christian became popular and is widely used by catholic sects.
