actually i was there for the past 4 weekends to support.. i was with my sister standing in the island together with university of san carlos bar ops waiting for my niece to come out. first who come out from san carlos in the left exit was the son of mayor rama then few minutes after we heard a big explosion infront mcdonald. then later at our back naa nag sumbagay nagkadugo then nakita namo daghan na dayongan mga injured. kulbaan mag stampede kay daghan kaayo ug tawo. mayor rama instructed us to vacate our area then went to the upper part of starbucks beside tokyo tokyo rest.

we were cheering the barister everytime they go out but nawala kay naa mga polvora ug utok... hay makalagot.. also gamay ra kaayo of polis nagbantay. CHAOS!

God bless sa USC bar takers...U ana gana c mayor mike nga ubay2 daw ang pulis pero wa au g-cordon ug maau na-a ra daw sa kilid, gtawagan pa gani nya sa mayor lim ug dilg sec robredo. pro wai tubag...U daghan na au nig issues ang kapolisan dah.. paeta!

I can attest to this, na-a gyud uban nga buotan akong barkada ug kababata, barkada sa akong kuya, member ani nga frat though i'm not a member of the frat, nkakuyog pa gani kog inom ug duwa poker ani nila kuyog yang mga brad, i remember n-ana kong barkada tinarong ni amo bai, mosubay mi sa balaod. base na sa akong nahibaw-an ha, kai kaila man ko sa kong amigo, i dont know sa uban.

Danjie Barrios, one of the classmates of Lazaga who went to the traditional Bar operations, together with more than 20 students and professors of USJ-R, showed pictures of Lazaga during the event. Barrios said that the pictures show that Lazaga is not a criminal.

One of the pictures show Lazaga wearing a white graphic shirt. Witnesses to the incident earlier said the suspect was wearing a black jacket with an "Akhro Fraternity" print on it. The suspect was also described covering his face.

Barrios said that when the explosion happened, Lazaga was with them. They were about 100 meters away from the area.

While Lazaga was looking for the bus near the intersection of Taft and Vito Cruz Sts., an unidentified person grabbed him by the shoulder.

He then yelled to a group nearby that Lazaga allegedly belonged to the Alpha Kappa Rho (Akrho) fraternity.

“Ito (pointing to Lazaga), Akrho to. Kasama to nung nagpasabog (He’s Akrho. He was with those who threw the grenade),” said the unidentified man.

According to Bathan, the group took turns in mauling Lazaga, even grabbing one of his earrings. They also stole Lazaga’s wallet, which had his voter’s ID that was later shown in television reports.

The group then dragged Lazaga to a nearby police substation, which is under the Malate police, and pinned the blame on him.
