    My only hope is that this feasibility study is done independently .

    Now if there was to be reclamation in Cordova.. then maybe perhaps there would be land to lease out to make up for the bridge. But a bridge alone without any means to pay for itself would result to heavy tolls and discourage people from using it.

    Ideally, a bridge here would only be phase one of a bigger master plan to develop the towns of Cordova and the northern towns of Bohol.

    let's not preempt what this bridge could do to both islands. bohol has a lot of cheap goods that are expensive here and vice-versa. trading is easier one thing for sure. the more business generated the more tax the govt. can collect. let's not close our minds to progress. it's inevitable. it may not work for us now but it will surely benefit our kids and the future generation.

    Very well stated Mr. Slyder. Two thumbs up ko ani. People are just too hesitant to accept changes/development. Wala man gud ta maanad ug mga near impossible nga development projects like other nations. Whoever heard of the Panama and Suez Canal here? It was nearly impossible but they have done it. Just search sa youtube for all of you to see.

    I believe the actual bridge is around 20-30km minus the islands in between cordova and jetafe.

    ... 90km is the distance from Jetafe to Tagbilaran.
