this is what sets us far above the "other" group. it is really a shame that this intimidation, hostility & senseless violence should happen in Cebu.

yes fraternities BEFORE is good..but now...i dont think so....my father was a member of certain fraternity (known kaayo ni siya na frat)...ingon niya ang frat sa una mag tinabangay sa ilang mga studies..most of them usually have regular group studies...pero karon mga frat..sos anha sa mga corridor sa school nag stamby-stamby. We have some studies sa among school..majority na nag stamby sa mga corridors kay mga frat men and most of them wa nay klaro sa skwela...i have one batch mate nako sa elementary she's a very good student and graduated as valedictorian pero pag-abot H.S ni sulod2x man ug frat..heheh drop out noon wa katiwas!! hehehe ngano bitaw ni ENTER!

i get your perspective but as they say, " there are good catholics & there are bad catholics."; "there are exemplary policemen & there are scalawags."

the point is, there is a greater good & these nuisance people are only very few in the bunch.

in this world there are only 3 things that are certain. they are change, death & taxes. it all really boils down on how we dance to the tune of life, on how we carry & place ourselves in the right place. the right time with the right people.

yeahh good and bad exist...but what i see nowadays most of the fratmen where bad (dropouts, criminals, addicts etc) and i consider them as liabilities of our beloved country IMHO...

So where are the people who wanted to be educated of whats going on in Cebu Next time guys , look at the big picture and not the small picture , kung gusto mo tubagon mo ug diplomasya , ask first urself why we have corrupt government officials , trapo mayors , abusado policemens Hehehehe , di man gani sila kaau sa problema nila , and you expect to fix the problem of both parties Thats IRONY ....pure IRONY .

I know LYTSLPR and SATOY are both members of the so called rival frat of AKRHO . Ive read their claims and most of all ive read their ponits of view about AKRHO that made is obviously very biased . Ang akong mai comment lang gyud is try to look at the big picture and not incidents that will corrupt your minds on ur points of view and perceptions of FRATMENS . By the way , im an 8 year veteran of the US Navy and 3 years in SAR swimmer spcialty . Guess what , tnx to AKRHO for the leadership and true camaraderie youve shown to me w/c I applied perfectly to my crew here in USS Tarawa . Now , those members who you guys think are criminals , do your duties as good citizens by puting them on report as individuals and not as a group .


Anymore questions ?? Thats what I thought !! Yes K of C is not a fraternity but a CONFRATERNITY , group of religous orders . You guys are referring to the GREEK LETTER SOCIETIES because fraternities are very broad n wide arrange of walks of life n style like military , religous , corporate , professional etc . AKP n TGP are collegiate greek letter frats n sors .

@SPRINGFIELD_CD_40: I understand your sentiments & have no way of convincing you otherwise since your loyalty belongs to your fraternity. Being objective about the situatiion, the police have very good reason to believe & support their claim that even the highest ranking officials in your group are supporting these acts of violence and even they (government & police) are almost convinced that it is true. The number & frequency of these incidents also do not lie. Ask every police, mediman, security or barangay tanod here in Cebu what they have to say and you will know what I am talking about.

All I know is that the burden of truth is not with us.

It is very fortunate that you discovered & experienced good things about your group. I personally know a fair number of very good people from your group, from friends to colleagues & even relatives. I also believe that they should go after individuals & not the group but GENERALLY & MAJORITY of the members of your group has gone renegade, mismanaged chapters or fake chapters probably caused by over population. As of last count you have 7,000 members in Cebu alone & we only have 2,000 or even less. Even the police which were deputized & trained to serve & protect the public have lots of scalawags what more 7,000? Statistics will tell us that with that number, it is very difficult if not impossible to control. The rising figures of the killings have gone from worst to pathetic.

As the saying goes, "one or more bad apple in the bunch is more than enough to make the entire bunch rotten." While we clean up our group and with due respect to yours, we strongly believe that your group should clean up fast before everything gets out of hand.

LYTSLPR - there is no loyalty involved , its all ego . trust me , a very big ego of who is on top . You may not accept it but thats the truth . Specualtions of whos who or why is it relies on the facts we gather thru media . I see a lot of previous copy n paste of links indicatiing the frat wars of AKP n TGP . Why the media when media are known for stirring issues The last time I was in Cebu was in JUL 1 to 31 , 2004 . I saw one Sunstar Balita sometime in mid July that has a headline of "AKRHO NAMIRA NA SAB " , why not " TAU GAMMA NASAMDAM " ?? Because imagine " 7000 " people will buy that paper for the day ..... I know coz I bought one to check out the news , its not only politics but business . How about the unaccounted for incidents of violence ?? Though im not sure if Lytslpr knows what im talking about the Talisay , Camputhaw , USC incidents but they were not in the news . How can you judge presume that peace is obtainable thru peactalks I know 1 peacetalk that wasnt even in he news thats why people of ISTORYA , rely on facts n figures and not on news . News and entertainment are only 1 .

For all our information purposes , even with the tensions and safety issues of brods and sis , we still pushed thru some activities imagineable to be productive not to let people think that AKP is buying the trust again or " BUMABWAI " , its not even in the news or broadcast in TV but all violence of AKP and TGP are up to date " LIVE PA " sa news . AKP did give school supplies to unfortunate public school children thru our LAPIS at PAPEL PROGRAM , feed the homeless , Xmas party for the streetchildren and orphans , Blood letting , joining the Sinulog thru participations in contingents , providing trash cans in every baranggay where a community chapter existed unless destroyed and last but not the least , giving SHOLARSHIP GRANTS to qualified n eligible low income students of any chosen vocational courses in Region 7 . Now tell me if thats is not productive as a fraternity u think is a menace to society , Im not even gonna go back to that mencae n threat to societies topic for it will be nevereneding in regards to Lytslpr comments . More power to all !!

it is very impossible for everyone having different backgrounds to always have a sound agreement of any sort. even amongst the fraternity, where members are from all walks of life, disagreements still reside.

what has happened in the past, let us forget for we can never bring back what has gone by. the only thing we have control of is the future. pointing fingers will never solve the problem. we can go on all day debating on who is to blame. but in the end, there is no point in arguing especially when fraternal loyalties are involved, and rationales fuelled by prejudice and bias.

brothers, in the truest sense of brotherhood, manifest the true essence of brotherhood. do what is morally right by standing firm by the principles. jumping into the bandwagon of high egos defeats the whole purpose of brotherhood.

ponder on these things... after all, we all belong to the same kind - the whole mankind.

why do they consider frat as brotherhood?? come one.. you guys beat the fck out of each other.. and even sexually abuse some female members.. why join a frat para mo sikat? par igonon astig ka? i really dont get the real point end esence anang frat. i severly look down on those people who join such organization.. wait frats are NOT even called an organization.. its just a group of young and old kids who have nothing better to do....
