Octoberpets has been traditionally held at the UP Cebu Grounds due to its accessibility to the general public and the shade the big acacia trees provide. It is also within easy access to emergency services in case of untoward incidents like heat stroke or dog bites.

SRP is too far and too hot for a whole day affair like this. We would like to avoid tragic incidents like the death due to heat stroke of a German Shepherd during a dog walk held at the SRP by another group a few years back.
