even the president of the poorest country in the world won't eat on a hotdog stand putting his life and his delegates in danger. WTH!! is he trying to prove?? that the Phils. is that poor that it's president can only afford food on a hotdog stand this is all for publicity, he can eat all the hotdog all he wants in his cheap room. why do it outside?? i've been a marketing person for the longest time and such strategy doesn't really work!!!

Palace admits hiring US PR firm for Aquino's visit - Yahoo! Philippines News

from Tribune
On the matter of his having hired a PR for his trip, Aquino admitted that he did, but claimed that it only cost $15,000, or P 660,000 in hiring US-based public relations firm Kreab Gavin Anderson to ensure Aquino gets significant media exposure during his week-long working visit to the United States cost the Philippine government.
His aides claim this was “cheap.”
Wikepedia says that in 2009, Kreab merged with Gavin Anderson & Co.
The new company Kreab Gavin Anderson is a world leading communications counsultancy - experts in Financial and Corporate Communication and Public Affairs issues. The company has over 350 consultants, providing independent and strategic advice to more than 500 clients. The company also has a very proactive media monitoring department.
Kreab Gavin Anderson is owned by Magnora AB, Omnicom/DAS and 75 partners.
It is unlikely that Kreav Gavin Anderson will merely charge the Philippine government $15,000 for Aquino’s US trip.
