Whats the Recommended ENTRY LEVEL Specs for a Multimedia Workstation?, i prefer AMD, but i still consider intel only "IF" wala juy paagi...

i was thinking of getting something that can -

1. Accept 4 gig or more RAM
2. durable rock solid mobo, can withstand long usage without shutdown for more than 24 hours...

im going to use this as render farm and same time server.... budget maybe an issue but not limited...

for mobo and processor setup, gusto ko 10k-15k range ra...

accessories ug peripherals not yet included... im not going to OC this...

i know what specs i need except for the mobo and cpu...coz im not updated anymore just a cpu and mobo specs will do... basicly this will be semi highend specs...

with a tight budget and for workstation purposes you are best suited using the AMD 1055T hexacore cpu. Seeing as this is for workstation, you would greatly benefit from the six cores. Also for the graphics card, without the budget for quadros or firepros, you would be best suited using Nvidia cards because of CUDA. For bang for the buck, i'd say go with two (2) NVIDIA GTS250s (non-green or non-crippled version) in SLI. This should perform better than one GTX460 (for the same price i think) in a workstation environment.

BTW: anyone know what brand of CPU casing nga parehas sa Mac Pro?
