    korek !!!

ingon ako brother-in-law who is a metalurgist from Mapua University.
These type of metal slabs are used as portable mounting base for something that is heavy.
Designed to be transported from one place to another for convenience.

If duna daw ni significant value it is up to the collector.

sakto si Rodion ... this might be a junk but might be someone elses treasure.

@rodion: cge ka pa dula airsoft bro?

yes, it's confirm. no significant value. it was use by the japanese with their anti-aircraft guns way back sa ilang occupation here. the buyer explains that he is reconstructing the actual AA gun in honor of his grandfather who was killed during the war. He said, his grandfather's body was not found that is why he wanted to reconstruct it. his grandfather was an infantry officer.

this is a nice thread. perhaps i may suggest to the admins of istorya if they can create a special forum where we can post pictures of artifacts which may seem junk to us but treasures for other people.

kinda a Treasure Quest forum...ok ba mga sirs?

OnT: nahalin na sir? unsa daw ang hitsura as AA kung completed na? naay part number kay ato i google?

Mao ni nga mga tests imong gamiton.

    1. Dapat ma determine ang density sa object. sayon ra ni, gamiton lang nimo ang crude method ni Archimedis naa naka rough estimate sa object. Then i compare it with other existing density of metals so na naka idea asa ni possible na belong.

    2. I test pod kung mo pilit ba ang magnet, kung mopilit ayaw na mo paghuna-huna lain (titanium, polonium, etc) you will be sure nga this is steel or iron-rich kind of alloy. iron or puthaw ra gyud ang mopilit sa magnet.

    3. By the looks of it, klaro man naa taya or rust which indicates the presence of Ferrite (Fe3O4) substance ferrite are iron (Fe) which become oxidized with air and produces red-orange-brown color.

    4. Puede pod ka mo kis-kis ug gmay sample sa metal then pa analyze sa laboratory sa san carlos or other laboratories.

    5. kana giingon nga wala ni init nga gibulad sa adlaw, cguro gibulad lang kad**** wala dayon na absorb nga heat kay the object is thick. All metals are good conductor because the molecules are dense and compact. the reason wala dayon ni init ma explain ni sa zeroth law of thermodynamics or thermodynamics equilibrium.

    6. wala ko nakita special ani nga metal except that it is mysteriously have serial number. mas maau unta nga pag kuha sa picture naa ni point of reference at the side like ball pen, coins, ruler para ma estimate nato ang size sa object. I believe this is a part of a huge machine... maybe a WWII machine or just heavy equipment machine.

    7. If there is really interested in buying this , i suggest go for 100K. anayway, naa pa amn kaha mo lain nga objects ani.

daghan pa ko masulti but i think these are more relevant.

bro i know what it is. for security sake, thats a very dangerous metal your handling there bro make sure nga nka butang na sya ug sealed nga container dont try to mix it with any acid and other stuff for testing coz it will only release its chemical composite and avoid touching it without any protective coating use chemical gloves ask lang ko bro if kung whole pa ba ang casing ayaw lang gabsa ang casing. thats the positive isotope for polonium. think you already know what polonium means. and its very dangerous kay naa sa imo ang positive isotope ana, radio active bya na sya bro without the metal casing but even with the metal casing naa gihapun side effect if youll come in contact with it.thats why ang ga handle ana before they use radiation suit or glove. mura kag nanigarillio ka ug 100 times per day if youll come in contack with it thats why avoid sad ug long exposure ana. try to test if with geiger counter for radio activity. bro asa dapit imo location try taking picture using film camera if kung dili na ma kuhaan ug picture sato pa taas taas ang radio active content niya.
