DIli man choppy since my unit is a athlon 3500 with a 4 gig of ram. it's just that mu flicker sad somethimes and ang color niya dili maayo pag mix when entering into hdmi mode. else everything is okay. It runs pretty well on 1280x960 na settings @ 60hz fluid gyud ang speed. Still saving on a 512mb 7800gs video card para mas maayo gyud ang support sa hi-res monitor.

well i was thinking that you run it at max res with max settings with 4xAA and 16xaf

i was referting to your framte rates, that the uber amout of ram you have, is it fully detected as 4GB ? coz from what i know widows xp has an issue with not detecting more thang 3.5gb

edit: for comparisons sake im running at 3700+ and 7900GTX speeds videcard and 1GB of system ram.

@esc should run kinda smooth with your 27 inch since your only running it @ that resolution. since your monitor is a TV it has that low native res@ 27 inches. my 20.1 inch ws monitor (not a tv) is native@ 1680x1050 6600gt @ this res would prolly run kinda smooth?? if all eye candy is tuned down. computer monitors that big (27 inches) would have at least a native of 2048x1536 res.

@wak2 you wont need to look at teh dac specs if your uncles going to use dvi. anyways almost all video cards as of recent have pretty good dac specs na.

    imho 7600gt ako ika suggest
