forget samsung their copycat techno. Asus begins with grafix and still getting bigger and better, beating in some respect w/ dell alienware( overpriced!).

almost bought the K42JR i3 version, wa pa man cla stock i5..g.suroy na nq SM og Ayala, wa cla :P nya 1x nlng na K42Jr pd ang nabilin.. the funny thing is kung asa e.purchase na nq ang K42JR >_> na kwaan nmn d.i sud sq ATM..g.palit og plane ticket og washing machine..ahak ui...mao to wa nka palit..
pro nakakita q og Samsung R480 and MSI CX420..
interms of model quality daghan man issues ang K42JR compared sa Samsung R480 pero mas barato and same2 ra specs ang MSI CX420 sa K42JR.. if ad2 pod ko sa samsung R480 gamay ra aq nabasa nga feedbacks and mostly good ang feedback compared to the ASUS and MSI...

I will still go for Asus.

It does not mean that if there are some issues about the product it's a bad product.
It might be because so many people are buying it that you have seen some of them having issues.
The good thing with buying a model or product where a lot of people are buying and using it, is the after sales and parts issue. In the future, you might need to buy a replacement battery, or a replacement keyboard or a replacement LCD or a replacement hinges, etc.

Try to search in the internet if these other brands aside from Asus can give you such a part. Coz if not then you are buying a disposable item.
