The chances for Cebuanos becoming millionaires through local entertainment are very, very low.

    Here is an update!

4 female teenage dancers (all dropouts), accompanied by their parents, sent a joint petition to Cebu City Hall asking the mayor to provide each of them a lifetime pension.

    Their reasons?

    1. They are "world class" dancers
    2. They performed in front of many live and televiewers through certain local variety shows of ABS-CBN and GMA
    3. They felt they brought Cebu City honor being its residents
    4. They were "victims" of GMA (related to the cancellation of a certain variety show in 2005)

These people are so pathetic! Them damned dancers no longer want to go back to school and continue living with the delusion that everything should be provided for them all because they danced. I question the parenting and guidance they're getting from their parents.

If the youth wants to make a living and be good citizens, they should finish their education and apply for office jobs in the private sector like most others!

Ako i take into example ang mga local bands dire ha. Nonsense man gud kaayo ang pang himuon na music. I just heard yesterday ang katong knock off na song sa opening theme sa Flame of Recca unya ang lyrics kay naay something about sa classmate nya na tsinita ... WTF? As someone before has posted, OK jud kaayo to ang gugmang giatay. I really enjoyed that song and I thought it would be the start of something good for the local music industry ... instead nagka bati na man nuon. They create/supply mga catchy lyrics to compensate for their crappy music. Mao lang to bow.
Other than doing quality work and performances, the minds of local entertainers should be straightened out too.

I've seen too many local entertainers who called themselves "world-class entertainers" without proving anything on the international level.

They think they are "world-class" only because they selfishly think they are good and that they do not need to prove anything.

I don't know with you but I'm not wasting my time and money on local entertainers unless they prove themselves worthy (not boastful or delusional).
