If you really wanna do forex go to forex.com

Well here in the philippines, I've had a lot of people tell me "invest ani bay" kwarta lagi ni. or rather, they go form person to person trying to convince them to invest. Telling them how how so-and-so earned this much. This really ticks me off, more so if the one telling me has no firsthand knowledge and experience of what he's talking about. Imagine somebody telling you to part with 10,000 USD because he saw someone cash out and earn alot. What I'd rather have is someone explain to me what this invest vehicle is, and the real risks of having such an investment. Moreover, If I hear something that pique's my interest, I'd certainly not sit around and wait for someone to come to me and say invest with us. I'd find a way to invest with them.

I don't believe there is such thing as a free meal. And most likely if it sounds too good to be true, then most likely it is. good investors never became good overnight its through experience and constant reasearch and study. And I wouldn't want someone who has just signed up with them a month ago coming to me and telling me to invest because "naka kwarta si so-and-so". Rather I'd rather you tell me why you believe this is a good investment.

Hi Guys, been quite busy for a while anyway, here it goes...

@Anton: yes you are correct with regards to the company you are refering with and i also am an outsider like you are. I've been doing my research also, and sad to say, you are looking at it with only 1 perspective. There's more to the industry than what you think.

I wouldnt say that there is no risk on this venture, i would even say that if you dont have any extra cash, then dont invest. My point is this, in business, or even in life, risk is normal. The greater the RISK, the greater the LOSS or REWARDS. As far as your friend's loss, then it was for him to learn from the experience.

With regards to the company you are refering to, many may have lost their money on their venture for FOREX, but many have also gained huge profits. The question is, if there's something fishy about the company, then how come it still exists after so many years of operation? As a matter of fact, if they're doing something illegal, then why would they take-up office on one of the most visible offices in Cebu City, the Pag-ibig building.

FOREX is an industry, you cant just judge the entire industry by looking at a few players alone. It all entirely depends on how you look at it. I dont know about you but for me, its an opportunity. An opportunity to learn and earn.

Here's an advice for you guys... Its true that there are FREE on-line FOREX Trading Platforms, but the risk would be much greater compared to over-the-counter FOREX Trading, where there is a commission for every complete transaction... The point is you are paying somebody to monitor the currency rates for you and make analysis and recommendations for the position to take, but of course, you make the final decision.

    Till next time...

I was not saying its illegal.... I just said it smelled fishy. heheheheh (thin line though) But honestly I was only showing facts I found out. Is there a different prespective to a given fact? I pointed out that the company is DTI registred, and not registered on either PSE or SEC.... and how the company is based in the virgin islands, and banks in hongkong. Also how primehillfx.com doesnt have any contact related details....

and $70 for every completed transaction is still high

I never even told anyone to don't try it..... I said Its what i found out... and what I told my friends
May I ask who moniors the currency rates and makes recommendations ?

And by the way, Forex.com also gives market research and insights fom it numerous analyst.

    good luck on your ventures

    i smelled something fishy too.
    1. No internet presence. No website, No email address. If they have existed for so many years, then how come they still don't have their own website? They don't even have email addresses in their business cards and to think they'll give you sites where you can monitor the market.
    2. Declined when i asked if they want to discuss their proposal to some managers and accountants who might be interested. They said they don't just offer it to anyone. Crap. If they want investors, then they should be open to anyone who might be willing to invest $10,000.
    3. Too good to be true. It's like he's trying to tell me that he's sure about his analysis. That a certain currency is going up and it's the right time to invest $10,000. I still believe that it's not easy to predict currency changes. And it's fishy if you keep on discussing about profits and not the possible losses.
    4. I asked them where they got my contact #. They said they got it from their research. That i was referred. That I was qualified. Now this really sounds funny... and i'd rather not discuss it here.

Sometimes it takes years before finding out that a certain company or business is a scam. I'm not saying that Mega Trend is a scam. Just trying say that the years of existence of a certain company doesn't guarantee that it's a legit company. Money can do miracles.

Risk is normal. But if you can't even trust the company, why take the risk?

Just like in stocks, be conservative and never invest in anything you do not understand. (taken from www.investopedia.com - Stocks Basics)

I'm not against FOREX by the way. I just think that Anton's research is good.

    hi Anton & Cebutech...

Your concerns are being welcomed, considered and duly noted. As far as the company is concerned, there is so much about the company's history that you do not understand and it would be quite useless to put it here since you've set your mind on a biased position already. I rest my case with regards to the legitimacy of the company.

With regards to this thread, i did not venture on this industry to market my services to people and make them invest but for my very own personal reasons. My purpose as such is to learn from the industry, its upsides and downsides and to where i can profit from. I am a businessman, and for all the years of my experience as an entrepreneur, i have come to learn that RISKS are good friends of mine. I know many have lost their money on this industry and many too have made alot. I'd rather not focus on the losses since all i do if things comes to worse is just reflect from it and learn from it. But loosing doesnt stop me from trying again since most of my gains in life came from the many times that i lost. I've been bankrupt so many times at a young age, still i managed to recover from that state coz for me, what matters is the getting back to the game. I've lived a life most people my age would only dream about. Thats pride enough for me. And what matters most to me is the kind of future id like to have one day.

I've learned alot from this venture and this even broadened my knowledge on investing. Just imagine, i now know how to play the STOCK MARKET and MONEY MARKET. I will use this for my own interests and invest my own money for my own gains. But if i loose, my losses will be mine with no regrets or whatsoever.

So guys!!! keep up the good LIFE!!!
